The two paths to Membership
You can become a member of the consortium by contributing to the fearbase. You can do this by either submitting a proposal for using the data or by submitting your own data. Below is a short description of these processes. Please note that website registration alone does not confer consortium membership.
Access the Data
To access the data, you are required to submit a proposal. Proposals are approved when reviewers determine that the project is sufficiently distinct from ongoing research. In cases where overlap exists, you are encouraged to connect with the relevant project teams. Upon approval by the consortium, applicants who are not yet members will be granted membership.
Submit ProposalContribute your Data
To contribute data to the database, you will be asked to provide meta information about your dataset and assign your variables according to the fearbase naming convention. Following submission, your dataset will undergo review by consortium members. Upon acceptance, it will be incorporated into the database, and you will be granted membership in the consortium.
